In X-Men 2: Clone Wars, the alien race Phalanx invades the earth and the X-Men and some X-Women try to stop them.

You get to choose which X-Man to play in every stage. Most of the time Nightcrawler is used because he has the highest movement speed. Second in command is Wolverine because he has the second highest speed and also deals a ton of damage.

The game is unique in the regard that it starts as soon as you power on your console. No SEGA logo, no title screen, no character select. Normally the game pseudorandomly gives you Beast, but changing the types of controllers (3- or 6-button) and pressing normally impossible button combinations (up+down) throws off the start-up timing enough that the fastest character can be gotten.

This movie is 02:49.43 minutes shorter than the previous publication thanks to a variety of new tricks explained in the authors' comments (https://tasvideos.org/7143S). The comments include a live commentary on the tricks and making of the movie.
