Time Diver: Eon Man is an unreleased action platformer that was intended to be published by Taito in 1993. It was initially developed as a sequel to Wrath of the Black Manta before the story became its own thing and the gameplay become more linear and straightforward. The game was advertised in an issue of Nintendo Power with a review and short strategy guide before quietly disappearing from its list of upcoming releases. It very soon ended up in the hands of video game bootleggers who modified the game and distributed it under the name Time Diver: Avenger.

The story stars a regular guy in the present day named Dan Nelson, whose life gets turned upside-down when he suddenly gets attacked by futuristic hitmen on floating platforms. At the same time, another futuristic man called Time Diver comes to save Dan at the cost of suffering debilitating injuries. Time Diver explains to Dan that Dan's future son Kane managed to create a system that keeps literally all streets crime-free. The secret organization known as Romedrux wanted crime to rule the streets once again and set off in a time-traveling journey to wipe out Dan and his ancestors so that Kane and his crime-checking system wouldn't exist. Time Diver was sent to stop him, but with the injuries he suffered saving Dan, he is in no condition to stop Romedrux. Dan must now take Time Diver's place, save his ancestors from being killed, and stop Romedrux before they can cause any more trouble.

Here, Exonym ( https://tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/Exonym ) plays through this game heavily inspired by The Terminator but predating Timecop, and eliminates Romedrux and their hulking baddies and giant robots in record time.
