[TAS] PSX Castlevania: Symphony of the Night "game end glitch" by ForgoneMoose & soc[...] in 09:47.2
This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see http://tasvideos.org/2547M.html. TAS originally published on 2014-03-09.
Not only was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night the first installment of the Castlevania series on PSX but also the first PSX game to have a published run (http://tasvideos.org/1246M.html) here. Follow Dracula's son Alucard as he glitches through the castle on a quest to end his father's life.
ForgoneMoose and sockfolder, by corrupting the save data, manage to corrupt the memory and go straight to the ending, totally skipping Richter and the whole second castle.
A 100% run covering the whole castle is also available here (http://tasvideos.org/2661M.html). If you prefer the main character to have muscular bare arms and to pray to the rain gods to defeat bosses, you may enjoy the Richter (http://tasvideos.org/2584M.html) version. If you want to see a run on Replay mode that can skip many cutscenes, see this run (http://tasvideos.org/2666M.html). A run with clear save without memory corruption is also available here (http://tasvideos.org/2541M.html).
Note: Due to an emulation error, the audio in the ending FMV sequence doesn't play.
