Back in February of 2012, Tauberpa and I recorded ourselves watching the hilariously bad children's movie "Freddie As FRO7" and uploaded the resulting video to my LegendOfZant channel. This is essentially a shorter re-edit of that old-ass video. The original video has been deleted, as it showed the movie in its entirety and thus was likely not transformative enough to be protected under Fair Use. No copyright claim or strike was ever issued against me, but I decided to delete the video anyways. Why do this now? Well, recent events prompted me to think about that video and the implications of posting it, and in the years since the original upload, I've come to learn a little more about copyright law. I came to the conclusion that I couldn't in good conscience keep a video online that I knew was most likely violating copyright. Rather than scrap the whole thing, however, I decided to make a more copyright-friendly version of the video and upload it to this channel, because...well, it seems to fit the motif of Tauberpals rather well. Made more sense to upload it here rather than on a channel I rarely ever use. Hopefully the low video quality and the mannerisms of my cringier younger self don't put you off too much, and you get some laughs out of this.
