ive been experimenting with these obscure ps1 homebrew apps from the year 2002 called PIMP 0.1.2 by Ceddy and PSX CD Builder by Majestic 12. they both let us create our own psx video cds. i made a compilation for both software, the advantage of PIMP is it can playback video higher than 320x240, up to 640x240. the drawback is it doesn't have a graphical menu and there's no seeking whereas PSX CD Builder does have a graphical menu and you can pause rewind and fast-forward. However the downside is resolutions must be 320x240.

TypeA is using PIMP and it's more focused on Picture quality while TypeB (PSX CD Builder) is more focused on Audio quality and smoother framerate.

in my video demonstration above i dubbed over the audio with the original music tracks as the recording was too low
