After quite numerous attempts to beat 2:01 at Jerez and losing the rear wheel during high lean angle cornering I came to the conclusion that traction control is a necessity riding like this. Dialed the darned thing up to 4 and made it into almost 1:59 flat (which is by no means fast, but at least is an improvement).
