Hey, do you like techno music? It's a cool genre of electronic dance music that started in the US in the 80s and became popular all over the world. Techno is mostly instrumental, with catchy rhythms and synth sounds. It can be fast or slow, but usually it's around 120 to 150 BPM. Some of the pioneers of techno were from Detroit, like Juan Atkins, Derrick May, and Kevin Saunderson. They mixed European synth-pop with African American styles like house and funk. Techno is also influenced by sci-fi themes and futuristic technology. There are many subgenres of techno, like acid, ambient, hardcore, trance, and more. Techno is great for dancing, chilling, or just having fun. If you want to know more about techno, check out some of these artists: Kraftwerk, Model 500, Inner City, The Prodigy, and Carl Craig.
