Answer to this month's chosen question "What was your proudest moment".
The Google event was a project set up by Google where they invited silver surfers selected from a large number of people who they had selected from entries to a competition with the object of designing an application that would make the using of a computer and the Internet more user friendly. During the two days we all worked very hard and long to achieve this. Each team had the help of Google programers and developers together with IT students. At the end of the session projects were displayed and winners were decided and prizes awarded for the best idea. (What Google described as "little prizes" were indeed very much more than that. Google will take all of these ideas and consider them and if they think any are worthy of further development they will offer grants to the team to produce their product.
