Here is part 2 of our two-player no death run of the original Japanese version of what went on to become Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II The Arcade Game for the NES.

Player 1- Raph: Played by Daniel "DTysonator" Teixeira

Player 2- Mike: Played by Gar "Yea Yeah!" Toy

Along with the difference in title name, the Famicom version also features other things that were altered in the NES version including:

-The game was produced by Konami and the company's name is featured in the actual Famicom game itself, however due to restrictions that were placed on companies for releasing multiple games in North America, Konami changed their name to Ultra for the NES release.

-The points system is normal in the Famicom version with enemies being worth 50 points on average, while they are only worth 1 point in the NES version, which is cool, if players are curious about the exact number of enemies that they managed to wipe out that is!

-The jump kick is stronger and kills the Foot soldiers in one hit in the Famicom game, while it takes two jump kicks to do the same in the NES version.

-The special attack is easier to perform in the Famicom version by simply pressing B+A at the same time, while in the NES game players must press both buttons in a particular way (thumb is supposed to take up more of the A button than the B button) in order to pull off the special attack.

-Players can use the special attack to clear both sides in a single attack in the Famicom game, by pressing the opposite direction right after performing the special attack while in mid-air. This cannot be achieved in the NES game.

-Pizza Hut did not sponsor the Famicom version and therefore there is no such product placement throughout the game (unless Turtle Racing counts for anything), unlike the NES version which is FULL of Pizza Hut ads!

Played on an original NES console back in 2010 while using regular controllers and a Famicom game converter, in order to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Gar and I finished this game on our first try without dying, but had just beaten the NES version beforehand, so we were more than ready to kick some Foot! COWABUNGA!
