Although I am having dread about this game, I’m going through it with an open mind. And beside, I tried doing it on Hard and it ended somewhat in disaster so I decided to do it in Normal.
This is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. I got it for PS4 and I bought it digitally since I don’t want to wait to get it physically. I heard a lot of mixed things about the game but I want to see it with my own eyes. So therefore I’m going to do a playthrough and see how it fares.
Anyway we begin the first stage where we’re in an open world city. The trick here is that you have to complete objectives in order to fill up a blue gauge. You do it by beating up bad guys or completing objectives. Once it hits full then you go to a location for a boss fight. It does get repetitive and the AI friends you have may be a bit reckless so have them set to Follow Me.
Eventually it leads you to an area where you can take on your first boss: Bebop. Bebop packs a chainsaw, a laser gun and a lot of muscle and trouble. You’ll have to tread carefully if you got to beat him. Using combo and special moves can help a lot. Let’s not forget that evasion works too. It’ll take some time but you’ll be able to take him down.
Beating Bebop lets you have access to five other areas but we’re doing them one by one. Next episode we’ll be tackling Rocksteady.
