Mega Krang has been sent packing but it seems the fight isn’t over. We got to deal with one other threat: Oroku Saki, the Shredder.
All this level consists is the 1st floor and an elevator. The elevator fight is where you have a warm up. You have to fight three waves of enemy forces consisting of foot soldier mooks, rock soldiers and giant hammer wielding rock grunts. You need to be at your best if you want to survive unscathed. However you’ll expect to take damage on your first run through so be prepared if anything.
After all the battles, you’ll have the option to return to the lair and restock because there is no going back. We’re taking on the Shredder. He’s not like the other bosses. He is difficult as heck and he’ll wipe the floor with you. You got to give it everything you have. Take advantage of all of the Turtles’ skills and attacks if you want to succeed. Time your dodges so you can go from behind and give shred head some needed damage. Pack healing items in case things get tough and expect the unexpected.
If you are really skilled, you can be able to have an extra battle against Super Shredder. Sadly it never happened for me here because I had no idea how to unlock the fight. But either way, it was tough at best.
That’s pretty much it for TMNT Mutants in Manhattan. It is an alright game but it leaves a lot to be desired. There is some replayability if you want to make your special attacks stronger but it’s going to require you to reply levels and I mean a lot. Be sure to do that if you want to tackle the harder difficulties. They are a challenge and if you’re careless, you’ll get your butt kicked.
