I've been wanting to do this game on the PSX emulator, DuckStation for last month, but I've been kinda occupied on finishing up a few other games, like Sonic Generations, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth, King of Fighters XV, even a few Neo Geo Pocket games too. I was also trying to save it with another Namco game on the same emulator too, but been having a little frame drops difficulty too, so I need to come up a small solution for it soon.
Just two days ago, PlayStation has just released the whole new PS Plus features that separates into three different tiers, the standard Essential, the Extra, and the Premium. For the Premium one, this service feature the Classic Catalogue, that features classical games across PS1, PS2, & PSP games, that can be finally playable across both PS4 & PS5! Sadly however, the only flaws that still matters to me is that PS3 games were still streamable only, instead of playing them directly downloaded on your PS4/PS5... (why can't we have that yet, Sony...?? No wonder why they've failed backward compatible against Xbox years ago... Now they're a step ahead of them, but still NO PS3 games?? Also, need to added PSVita via PSTV too??)
But all else aside, we managed to upgrade our PS Plus subscription to Premium, only just to experiment these features by curiosity, but only til 70 days are up soon. Once the 70 days reaches its expiration, we'll may downgrade back to standard (Essential) PS Plus for a while, so I guess I had to use them til then. Also, there's some classic PS1, PS2, & PSP may feature trophies supports, while this game is an exception... (Again, why, Sony??) But thankfully, you can still recording via captures and take screenshots. But since mine is a standard PS4 slim, so expect some 30fps gameplay, unless I could try to do it again on the PSX emulator DuckStation on PC somedays, maybe I'll try widescreen hacks if possible.
