Tekken 2 Review for PlayStation - SnakeOfBacon
21For the PlayStation, PS, PS1, whatever you want to call it (just please not PSX) it's Tekken 2! an early PlayStation game from Namco, who made many of the best early PlayStation games, it is a perfect arcade port of Tekken 2 with a new and absolutely magnificent soundtrack as well as many extra modes of play and the advantage of not having to put real coins in your PlayStation to play it. It's a 3D fighter and a vast improvement over the original Tekken, with more than three times more characters and heaps of new moves for each one, these movesets were so good in fact that most of these characters still have all of these same attacks (plus many more) in Tekken 6, I consider 2 to be the best of the early Tekkens obviously it was better than 1 and I have always liked it more than 3, though I must acknowledge that Tekken 3 is also a great game, I find this one to be so much better, after that there was the great Tekken Tag Tournament as an early PS2 game, the broken Tekken 4, and the flawless Tekken 5, followed by the very beautiful but deeply flawed Tekken 6 on the PS3.
