Halo: Combat Evolved Review for XBOX - SnakeOfBacon
5This, is Halo: Combat Evolved, anyone who knows anything about games knows what this is, and you all know it's great, so why am I reviewing it? Well why not, I wanted to show off my flash new deinterlacing skills too (notice how here, unlike every other video I've ever made, there's no combing when something moves really fast? well, now that I can use VirtualDub, I can make all of my videos look this good AND the file size is a tenth of what it used to be, so that's really awesome, only trouble is, I'm now recording in DV AVI, which is huge, and the footage for this video took up 34GiB! Anyway, enough nerdy talk, Halo is a first person shooter from 2001 and by far the biggest hit at the launch of the XBOX.
NOTE: I only spoke of the single-player mode of the game in this review, and didn't mention the absolutely marvellous split-screen and LAN play the game provides, as I had nobody to play with.
