Tekken 7 is an upcoming fighting game being developed by Bandai Namco Games. It will be the ninth installment in the Tekken fighting game series. The game will be using the Unreal Engine 4. The game was announced at the 2014 Evolution Championship Series by Namco game director & chief producer Katsuhiro Harada[7]. It was initially stated that the original release date would be for February 2015, though further clarification revealed that the date would only have a pre-launch. It was later revealed the pre-launch would to be available in Japanese Arcades on February 18th, 2015, and that the real release date would be at March instead.
