Tekken 8 - Asuka gameplay breakdown and reaction
13This is a detailed look at Asuka in Tekken 8, as shown in the official reveal trailer. Lots of new stuff, possible changes, as well as some new game mechanics in use to discuss. Please feel free to comment below if you see anything or have any other input.

The biggest change we see here is some sort of power up chore. Asuka taunts after certain moves and it stores some kind of power up, to be unleashed by other moves, giving them extra properties. You see the new leaping punch slam, then you see it again with a green glow, and the second time it causes a spike for follow up attacks.
Additionally, her db+1+2 throw appears to have a bit of a mixup game built into it now. Pretty interesting for a throw/parry character.
