With the release of Tekken 8 underway later this month, why not catch up yet again with Bandai Namco's iconic fighter franchise?!

TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT (1999-2000): Introduced as a non-canon spin-off to the series, Tag Tournament features a handful of the same characters from the 2nd offering making unexpected returns, despite some of them being killed off in the main storyline, and Kazuya being the most heavily promoted character of this installment.

TEKKEN 4 (2001-02) - In regards to its much darker plot as opposed to its predecessor, scientists under the employ of Heihachi have captured most of Ogre's blood & tissue samples to splice with the former's genome for the ultimate aim of Mishima's immortality. Unfortunately, the experiment results in failure due to him not possessing the Devil gene, whereas his grandson Jin does despite having gone missing. Eventually, he learns that Kazuya's body with the Devil gene infused within is stored in the laboratories of a cutting edge biotech firm with the aim of making revolutionary advances in biogenetics research, the G Corporation. The company is eventually raided by the Tekken Forces, but all of them were subdued by the genetically-resurrected Kazuya himself days following the latter's apparent death. Unbeknownst to Heihachi, Jin was exiled in Brisbane through a self-imposed, self-teaching duty to re-learn traditional Karate, vowing NEVER to have "piss-all" to do with his Bloodline since the betrayal of his infamous grandpa - who's just recently announced the start of the 4th King of Iron Fist Tournament in order to lure them out, by the by.

TEKKEN 5 (2004-05) - G Corporation has just invaded the Honmaru Dojo, deploying numerous armies of Jack-4 machines while the Mishimas fend them off. As the fight ensues, Kazuya leaves his dad for dead while making his escape and the Jacks outnumber Heihachi via self-destruction while another mysterious ninja witnesses the incident, RAVEN, thus relaying the incident to his higher-ups. Heihachi's death is also-thus declared throughout the globe with everyone foreseeing the end of his massive conglomerate... that is until a shadowy entity from deep below the Honmaru takes over the King of Iron Fist Tournament.
