0Red Dead Redemption 2 é um jogo eletrônico de ação-aventura desenvolvido e publicado pela Rockstar Games. É o terceiro título da série Red Dead e uma prequela de Red Dead Redemption, tendo sido lançado em outubro de 2018 para PlayStation 4 e Xbox One e em novembro de 2019 para Microsoft Windows e Google Stadia. A história se passa em 1899 em uma representação ficcional do oeste, meio-oeste e sul dos Estados Unidos e acompanha o fora da lei Arthur Morgan, que precisa lidar com o declínio do Velho Oeste e sobreviver à perseguição de forças governamentais, gangues rivais e outros adversários.
A jogabilidade é apresentada tanto em uma perspectiva em primeira quanto em terceira pessoa, com o jogador sendo livre para explorar e interagir com o mundo aberto. Elementos de jogabilidade incluem tiroteios, assaltos, caça, cavalgadas, interação com personagens não jogáveis e gerenciamento da honra do protagonista por meio de escolhas morais e atos. Um sistema de recompensa similar àquele presente na série Grand Theft Auto governa as respostas da polícia e caçadores de recompensa aos crimes cometidos pelo jogador. Um modo multijogador chamado de Red Dead Online estreou em novembro de 2018.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. It is the third title in the Red Dead series and a prequel to Red Dead Redemption, having been released in October 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and in November 2019 for Microsoft Windows and Google Stadia. The story takes place in 1899 in a fictional representation of the West, Midwest and South of the United States and accompanies outlaw Arthur Morgan, who must deal with the decline of the Old West and survive persecution from government forces, rival gangs and other opponents.
The gameplay is presented in both a first-person and third-person perspective, with the player being free to explore and interact with the open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, heists, hunting, riding, interacting with non-player characters, and managing the protagonist's honor through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system similar to that present in the Grand Theft Auto series governs police and bounty hunter responses to crimes committed by the player. A multiplayer mode called Red Dead Online debuted in November 2018.
