Tenet has left us more confused than a Golden Retriever playing chess, but after several re-watches, new information and Easter Eggs start to appear, as we begin to decipher an admittedly very confusing movie. It also allows us to read in between the lines, which in turn leads us to come up with our own theories and answers to what things really mean. One of the biggest theories doing the rounds for Tenet is that (SPOILER ALERT) Robert Pattison’s Neil is actually the son of Kat and the movie’s villain Andrei Sator- Max.

In this video, we will take a look at this theory and weight up the pros and cons of it, pitting our careless optimism against our crushing pessimism in a matchup greater than Godzilla vs Kong. We will look at the evidence suggesting that this theory is very much the real deal and the counter evidence that states it is unfortunately nothing more than a theory. So grab yourself an ice pack and prepare for your head to hurt again as we return to the confusing world of Tenet!

What do you make of this theory? Do you think Neil is actually Max? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to give us a follow on social media and smash that subscribe button so you can keep up with all things Tenet!
