Last recording I did in April, have been busy and was sick for a few days (unrelated to Covid) or I would have tried to share it sooner. Hope everyone is staying safe!

This recording features a friend playing 12 string acoustic guitar. And I tried out some weird combinations. Used some arpeggiated keyboards for this, and blended together the keys and acoustic guitar through the same FX pedals so they would interact. The EHX Ravish Sitar pedal should be the most noticeable with the acoustic/keys mixed.

Lastly I recorded a bit of bass clarinet over top and tried to get all the tracks mixed evenly. I have been recording individual parts in multi track lately, for example in this recording the acoustic guitar is recorded in 2 different Mic tracks (mono and stereo) as well as in 2 FX tracks (also mono and stereo) that way I can blend the levels from the dry acoustic mic tracks with the processed FX tracks. I record that way so I can experiment heavily with effects while still retaining the clean sound of the signals. Also helps the stereo delays/reverb from getting too muddy.
