My first installment of Terminal Tips. I will be using the Terminal Application that is pre-installed on all Mac Computers.

Featured Terminal Tips:
1. 2D Dock : defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES
To get of 2D Dock : defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean NO

2. Pin Dock to Left or Right
Right Side : defaults write com.apple.dock pinning -string end
Left Side : defaults write com.apple.dock pinning -string start
Middle : defaults write com.apple.dock pinning -string middle

Notes: After each line, hit 'enter' key. Then type : killall Dock : (letter for letter, capitalize Dock).
