I finally managed to write some original music for a Doom project! After having handled the Doom 32X Resurrection soundtrack, and been a part of Molkirill's Final Doom collabs, I finally write some original MIDI for the 4th installment in the long-running NOVA series. It's worth noting, however, that this is not the whole song. This is just part one of an over hour-long collaborative MIDI between myself and 3 other composers. I figured it would be most fair to just share the part that I wrote, and you can hear the whole song for yourself when you play Megiddo IV for yourself ;)
Also, this is a recording from my SC-8850, so this may sound a little different than the version you actually hear in-game if you're using the standard MSGS or FluidSynth. I couldn't not take advantage of the extra effects that it offers, heheh.
Also, uh... sorry for the still landscape shot. I tried to get some gameplay footage of the level but it is... WAY above my pay grade in terms of difficulty. This will have to suffice.
