0'TERRA FORCE' is a shoot'em up released by Nichibutsu in 1987.
The game was well known for its new tactical features using vertical/horizontal scrolling elements at the time.
So eliminate the incoming enemies by using the super destructive hyper missiles.
The game was initially named 23XX Cosmo Ranger and not intended as part of the Cresta series but was renamed for more familiarity.
Terra Force plays like a typical shoot 'em up, with the player ship having a forward firing gun and a missile for ground targets, both of which can be powered up with items. The player can also collect drones which follow the player's ship and add to its firepower. Stages constantly alternate between underground and surface sections; while underground, the level scrolls horizontally, with a side-view camera, while on the surface the level scrolls vertically, with a top-down view camera.
