Well, I'm not wasting as much time on early turns, but when they start requiring more time to decide things later, I'll switch back to 10 turn or down to 5 turn increments so each video isn't a whole entire infinite eternity to watch.
My basic idea is to try and zig-zag early settlements about the equator, and keep them spaced further apart so with hyperloops each may have plenty of space to grow... unlike in my last stupid POTATO gameplay, which I put them too close together and had to take over tiles just to grow and reassign the other settlements' tiles as well. So, let's see how well that goes at least.
I know it's probably "lame", as everything else I do is sadly enough, but I rather build without expectations indefinitely increasing. So, that's what I'm doing. I like seeing Mars and building stuff, but artificially being forced to build certain structures is a bit of a pain. But for some I suppose that's how games are meant to be played, but I like playing games for fun more than for competition and so stuff like just exploring and building without annoyances appeals to me more than the infinite hassle ordeal.
