Vehicle construction and combat game TerraTech, hailed as the Radius Festival 'Game of the Show' by Kotaku UK last week and described by The Guardian as "extremely promising", today launches its Kickstarter campaign to further fund development of the original indie title.

Combining an intuitive modular construction mechanic and a realistic physics engine, TerraTech players can design and construct an almost limitless fleet of varied mining, exploration and combat vehicles, pitting them against other planetary prospectors in a quest to find and harvest rare and powerful natural resources.

Developed by indie startup Payload Studios, TerraTech started pre-production in late 2013, and is being developed by a core team of just four developers. The game has already garnered a lot of attention and built an enthusiastic and engaged community, via its active social feeds, daily live-streaming of development, and built-in vehicle sharing mechanics.
