With UK winter being dull and dismal I have moved to the Octopus Energy GO Tariff. This is an economy 4 tariff, where between 12:30am and 4:30am the electricity costs only 5 pence per kWh. So I am using this time to fill up the Tesla Powerwall with cheaper electricity to use during the day whilst I dont have large solar surplus (damn the 2kWh electric heater in the cave). I might also configure my Eddi to heat the water at this time to instead of using gas.
