Test of Signet Micro Action DV Camera
This is a surface street and motorway/freeway test of the Signet Micro Action DV Camera functioning as a dash camera. At the time it of purchase, it cost $29.95 at Jay Car.
This is only a standard definition camera. It is highly recommended that you only purchase full hd cameras to capture car license plates. This camera does not feature a wide angle lense which is an important feature now available in most budget cameras.
An important note that is not on the box, this camera cannot record and charge at the same time.
This unit suffered from reliability problems as it recorded at double speed with a halved framerate.
If you have purchased the camera, and wish to change the date stamp, insert the MicroSD card into a computer, and open the file that says TAG. There you can insert the date and time.
Thank you for viewing this video, I hope it has helped you in decision to purchase, or otherwise, this camera.
