Can I still do critical damage if I use Golden Staff on him?
Yes you can do critical hits while wearing Golden Staff if the passive buff is on.
What happens when I use Demon Hunter Sword combined with his passive?
Demon Hunter Sword extra damage is disabled when riding Barbiel even if his passive is off.
Without Barbiel Demon Hunter Sword works fine.
What item works well with Leomord's passive?
I think the best item is Blade of Despair.
It increases his physical attack by 30% when hitting an enemy with an HP of below 50%.
Next item would be Demon Hunter Sword because it can lower an enemy's HP fast.
Once low on HP, your passive will kick in and it will rain critical strikes.
