I finally got into the EVE: Valkyrie Alpha and decided to try it with my HOTAS. After playing it once with the Xbox 360 controller I can tell you that using the HOTAS makes a huge difference as to the feel of the game! It is still a bit more arcade than I personally prefer, but the visuals are outstanding and if they fix the flight physics to be a little more realistic I could see myself playing this a lot more often.
