The new Mage Cowl is a fire breath ability, allowing you to more efficiently AoE farm mobs. This new helmet spell shoots a line damage over time fire attack in front of you, and the damage cone spreads out towards the end. It can be animation cancelled and allows you to fame farm even faster than before. Many players don't like this change to the mage cowl, but it's now more focused towards pve activities.
