This is a short video that tests my new capabilities. Looks a lot better now, huh? Let me know how everything turned out!

If you have any suggestions on Virtual Dub, Audacity, Diamond VC500 Capture Cards, ArcSoft, or Camtasia, I'll be glad to hear them. I'm still new at all this, it's taking me a while to get the hang of everything.

As of this recording, I don't have an icon. If anybody would like, I would like a Metal Sonic icon or something for my channel, and a pretty background. I can't really pay per se, but I thought I would take a shot in the dark just in case.

Tech Used:

Video Recording/Editing: Virtual Dub
Capture: Diamond VC500 Capture Card
Voice: Audacity
Cobbling the video and voice together: ArcSoft Showbiz

I don't have an external microphone or a headset, so that's why there's the slight echo (The Audacity recording picks up the game slightly as well), but I tried my best to minimize it.

There also may be some discrepancy between the Voice and the video/sound. Virtual Dub gives me some crazy desync like you wouldn't believe, you should have heard the out of sync game audio before I messed with it. Again, I tried the best I could. As for my voice, I took crapshoots at ligning the voice track with the video and got it pretty close. I need a better way to line 'em up...

I have aquired Camtasia since this recording, which I shall use instead of Audacity and ArcSoft Showbiz. ArcSoft really sucks, and while Audacity is fine, using Camtasia's onboard microphone will be a lot easier, as my voice will be synced up with the game and the game audio shouldn't desync.
