Testing OpenGL Primitives and Textures with Object Oriented Visual C++
Here I am testing out my OpenGL implementation, with a few 'standardized primitives and textures - leveraging highly reusable Object Oriented Visual C++ on a Windows XP system with Visual Studio 2005.
Why the old school dev environment? Simple: I'm homeless first, this is all I can afford, and second, I am creating a 3D Operating system - and alternative upgrade path for Windows XP Operating Systems who aren't choosing to move into newer OS flavors when they offer more expense than tangible benefits.
The GLSaturn object the 'first one' depicted in this video will be a standard base object like a cube and sphere.
Tons of memory issues to work out. I'm new to OpenGL and it's been years since I really programmed with C++ but it's actually more fun than I thought it would be!
Thanks for watching - let me know if you have any advice after seeing the primitives. The motion - is random.
MY Favorite is the cube with the borg texture. HOPE you enjoy!
