Testing Our Metal | Farthest Frontier - Part 13 (Settlement Survival Game)
211Farthest Frontier continues and we build ourselves a blacksmith so we can turn all the iron we have into useful things, such as tools, bigger tools and weapons! Finally we're able to make our very own pointy metal things to jab people with and it comes at a good time because it does seem that a few of the Geekvale Guard are lacking melee weapons.
Our trading post is upgraded and it's a beautiful thing to behold. There's a lovely clock tower, flower boxes, artwork on the walls, it's very nice indeed, and also it means new traders come in, one of which pops by to see us.
They arrive at a bad time however because we do get raided and it's a very difficult one to deal with because some of them arrive at our newly built residential area which is lacking defences...
Also we get our barn set up (sort of), we make some lovely baskets and we finally get round to building some walls!

All Them Old-Timey Diseases! - Ensure your villagers have clean water to stop outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Collect berries and plant greens to avoid scurvy and ensure a healthy diet. Make sure villagers are properly shoed and clothed to reduce chances of contracting tetanus, rabies or frostbite. Build a healer’s house to quarantine the infected and provide herbs and medicine for treatment.
Fend Off Would-Be Invaders - Choose to play on pacifist and avoid combat altogether or engage with varying levels of raider difficulty to raise the stakes for your town’s survival. Progress from wood palisades to stone walls, build towers and barracks, recruit and equip soldiers in the defense of your town.
