An Annus Horribilis | Crusader Kings 3 - Royal Court DLC - Part 44
242Crusader Kings 3 continues and the year 1281 proves to be Sunrise's annus horribilis (horrible year). There's quite a lot of death, both on and off the battlefield, there's a large loss and Sunrise receives some bad news, so overall it's a terrible year indeed for our beloved Sultan.
Mecca becomes even more important to us as we finally get round to building a Duchy building there; the tax offices. That's right, we're going to tax the people of Mecca to make even more money out of them! And to make sure this is possible we finally get round to creating the Emirate of Mecca title for ourselves so the tax offices can work fabulously well.
We get called into another Catholic Crusade as Pope Squad make moves on Sardinia (which I woefully fail to find on the map) so we go in on the defensive, but it looks like we're woefully outnumbered.
Also we have to deal with someone else's family dispute, we arrange more marriages and we name many more children.
