Before you guys even say it, no, it's not going to be based around Baldi's Basics. I've had this idea for a while now, something different from my point and click game actually. I wanted to make a sorta authentic edutainment type game, something like 3D Dinosaur Adventure, and other edutainment games, long before Baldi's Basics was a thing.

There won't be any horror elements in my game, I want it to play exactly like a 90s game. (While still being a bit unsettling in terms of atmosphere)

I haven't actually created characters for this game yet, as it's an early prototype, but this is how player movement is going to be managed in this unnamed project I created in about 2-3 hours.

I've actually figured out a way to limit framerate on a single game camera, which allows me to make it seem even more authentic. If I can actually commit to making this game, I won't be sharing much progress, as it'll kill the element of surprise I intend for this game to have. I don't want to spoil any big things, but rather tease at them if you will. I haven't actually committed to a standalone game of my own, but this is the only time I'm not going to plan to make a horror game. I genuinely want this to be a super weird creation by me. I really hope it doesn't like... Blow up or anything though if I actually release this within a year or so.

And the design choice is just going to be mimicking the feel of playing the game on a windows 3.1 pc, I plan to make this optional though.
