Due to popular request, and as a gift to many of my followers/subscribers, I've ported the Witcher 2 style plate armour from Skyrim to Mount & Blade: Warband.

This was originally ported from the Witcher 2 to Skyrim by L0rdofWar... Which essentially makes this a port of a port, lol

You can find the Skyrim version here:-

If all goes well I will be releasing this in a few days, this video just shows me testing the mesh/model in-game, making sure there's no skeletal/animation issues, and that the helmets, hands, legs boots 'etc' all fit the torso correctly.

The Skeleton and animations used in Skyrim are very different from Mount & Blade, so rigging the armour mesh was a bit of a nightmare, as the arms, legs and pauldrons (shoulder pads) needed to be tweaked something chronic just to get it to work correctly.

The mesh itself is very detailed compared to the others I've worked with for this game (in excess of 9280 polys) but thankfully there's 4 LOD's for it, so unless you've got about 100 guys all wearing this armour on-screen at once, you should be fine.

This video also features some items from my old 15th Century Armour Pack for Warband, and as you can see - the Witcher 2 style armour seems to blend in very well with them indeed. :)
