Mit der Spiele-Compilation (2-in-1-Modul) Tetris & Dr. Mario liegen uns gleich zwei Puzzleklassiker aus den 80er und 90er Jahren vor. In Tetris von Alexei Paschitnow dreht sich alles um die sogenannten »Tetrominos«, die in 90-Grad-Schritten gedreht und verschoben werden. Mit diesen sieben Tetris-Bausteinen (I, J, L, O, S, T, Z) bildet ihr am unteren Rand horizontale, möglichst lückenlose Reihen, die sich sodann auflösen. Dr. Mario, das unter der Leitung von Gunpei Yokoi (Game Boy-/Game & Watch-Erfinder) entstand, setzt auf das bewährte Match 3-Spielprinzip. Hier gilt es verschiedenfarbige Viren auf dem Spielfeld mit dem passenden Gegenstück zu kombinieren.
