last friday night, blink, uyeshota and myself collabed in order to defeat all the bosses in Connected mode, but with the Maniac setting on.

can confirm that it makes bosses send more frequent, more annoying effects, and they likely play faster. meanwhile, our connected meter fills much more slowly than normal.
they do get deadlier over time, and as we went in very unprepared (no optimization in dealing with effects, or sending the largest connected attack) and just had fun.
