Heh, between this video and a long debate about furries in my discord today, I don't think I've ever offended so many people so quickly. :)
Alright, let's talk Minecraft...

==Current plans for an ideologically themed Faction Server==
-The server will only have 3 plugins: Essentials (homes, warps, kits, etc.), Factions (you know the drill), and WorldEdit (for my building convenience.)
-Players will not be allowed to create their own Factions.
-There will be 4 default Factions, which players will be sorted into based upon request or if I need to balance out the numbers.
-These 4 Factions will have Government styles based on WW2 era ideologies: A Democracy, a Fascist state, a Communist regime, and a Monarchy.
-The leaders of these Factions will be initially chosen by me but subject to change based on the methods of leadership rotation each one will have implemented.
-All 4 Factions will start with a massive Capital city, built by me and my mods before the server is made public.
-All 4 Factions will have a default amount of Faction power, along with large increases for every member that joins, allowing for the claiming of large swaths of land.
-All Faction territory will be forced to be connected with other Faction territory. This is to promote centralization and actual city-building.
-Inter-faction relations will be managed differently for each Faction based on Government type.
-At random points, I (along with any of my mods who wish to join me) will enter the server under a chaotic fifth Faction, the Anarchists, to sow chaos and host events.
Current ideas I'm throwing around:
-No phantoms. I hate those things.
-No Elytra. This would be to promote siege warfare.
-Disable the ability to throw ender pearls, if that's possible. Again, to promote siege warfare, and to prevent people from wanting endermen farms.
-If someone commits an act of treason against their Faction, I'm unsure if I should ban them from the server for acting out of good faith or let them be wandering nobodies.
-Spawn 4 dragon eggs at the start and disable the dragon. Each capital gets an egg. First Faction to collect all 4 eggs through fair conquest wins a cash prize.
