The Axtinguisher in TF2 has been through a number of buffs and nerfs, but where does it stand right now?

From my understanding of the way this weapon used to be used (and apparently, still should be) the stats are quite contradictory. I don't feel like it is balanced in a way which makes sense. Is critting burning players strong? Hell yes, but when the tool you use to do it is so stunted then its applications are really limited.

Ultimately, I am one guy with one opinion and you're very welcome to disagree. But I can't imagine anyone who enjoy starting flame wars would have reached this part of the video description anyway...
