TF2 (More) New Weapon Ideas: Engineer
Man, it feels like it was just yesterday when it was half a decade ago and Engineer got the Rescue Ranger. At least it was good. Oh and I guess Engineer got the Panic Attack 2014, but does that really count?
Anyway, how 'bout this weather huh guys?
Stats:
Wrench Replacement (Robotic Arm)
+4 health regenerated per second on wearer (Regeneration rate is decreased if player has been recently damaged)
+50% max metal on wearer
Replaces Sentry with buildable robotic teammate (The user can build one AI controlled robot version of any of the 9 classes using stock weapons for the cost of 150 metal; Robots take 10 seconds to build and cannot be wrench boosted; Robots can be demolished with the Demolish Tool; Robots can be sapped; Robot Engineers cannot build additional buildings)
Robotic teammates cannot capture objectives, do not drop ammo or weapons and cannot be Overhealed
Pistol Replacement
This weapon deploys 20% faster
100% mini-crits vs your sentry's target
-80% max secondary ammo on wearer
20% slower firing speed
Wrench Replacement
Replaces Sentry with up to 2 Mortar Guns
(Costs 130 metal each; 150 health; Same build speed as Level 1 Sentry; Fires single large rockets; Can fire 1 rocket per second; Same damage values as Level 3 Sentry Rockets; 25% increased range; +20% rocket explosion radius; Cannot be upgraded, Rotates 20% slower)
