An original rag by Marc Moore (me), 2021, inspired by a couple showtunes. As with a couple past rags, I found a digital recording was the easiest way to get a piano-roll-like recording true to the way I wanted it to sound.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how good this came out considering it quite literally started out as a joke. What started as a running childhood inside joke involving Elmo seems to have culminated in this composition closely inspired by three themes of shows by a certain Henson (yes, that Henson). One might say that it's a real muppet of a tune ;) #ragtime
