An original rag by Marc Moore (me), 2021, inspired by some of my past works and with a bit of a James Scott-inspired feel to it. As with a couple past rags, I found a digital recording was the easiest way to get a piano-roll-like recording true to the way I wanted it to sound. Links to sheet music and MIDI files below.
I don't have much of a backstory for this one (other than the name being inspired from some melody similarities with my earlier composition, the Sparrow Rag). I did work to make this one of my better compositions though, taking some inspiration from my early works but trying to spruce it up to match how I've improved over the last couple years. #ragtime
