The 10 Deadly Skitarii Killer Warriors of Mars
216A Skitarii or otherwise known as the Tech guard start their life in service to the machine god as normal humans of the cult mechanicus, albeit with slightly more cybernetic enhancements than lets say a person serving with the gangs of Necromunda. They are either taken into service as natural-born human menials who are cybernetically-enhanced to serve as Skitarii or they are genetically-engineered clones who are cybernetically enhanced from the moment of their accelerated "birth," to be part of the military of the machine. These are then inducted in as the Hyspasists, who are the most numerable tech guards, unlike the rangers which are portrayed more often. These Hyspasists and other more cybernetically enhanced skitarii like the rangers also serve as units for the balisteria and the armored Cataphractii. As they lose more flesh to war, they are fitted with more cybernetics and bionics upto a point where they are fully seen as the Skitarii Rangers or as the Sagitarii if they are deemed worthy enough to handle heavy weaponry. The same can be said for the calixis sector variants like the Classiarii or the large space marine sized Herakli. Now, that we have gotten the basics out of the way, let’s take a look at the 10 weird and dangerous Skitarii variants.
