Max Verstappen picked up his 2nd win of the season after a rollercoaster of a race which featured 3 Red Flagsβ¦π€―
Verstappen lost the lead at the start and dropped behind both of the fast starting Mercedes of Russell and Hamilton before the end of the first sector π₯
A safety car was then quickly brought out after Leclerc collided with Stroll ending the Ferrari drivers race π
Once back underway, it wasnβt long until the first Red Flag of the race after a major crash for Alex Albon brought the race to a halt π₯
Russell and Sainz both lost out massively as they pitted before the race was stopped π
Later, Russells car caught fire ending his race π£
Once the race resumed, Verstappen quickly overtook Hamilton a few laps into the restart and took full control of the race β
However there was another twist in the race as the FIA decided to throw the Red Flag after Magnussenβs rear tyre came loose due to making contact with the T2 Wall π
A controversial decision, which triggered chaos at the 2nd restart which resulted in 4 cars crashing out π€―
Sainz was penalised for spinning Alonso into T1 and both Alpineβs ended up in the wall after making contact together π
The session was once again red flagged and the order was reinstated to what it was before the 3rd Red Flag. Which became the final order.
