I was rummaging through my old practice notes from years ago yesterday, and found a killer exercise I used to use (that’s insanely cool for unlocking your fingerboard) that I’ve never filmed before.

I know, weird right?

Honestly, I can’t believe I’ve been filming lessons now for 8+ years and I’ve never shown anyone this exercise before…

When I realised I’d been keeping this 3 step formula to myself, I immediately went into the studio and hit record to get this down on camera for you.

It’s one of those exercises that’s going to give you a good handful of light bulb moments ;)

In essence, it's a simple 3 step formula you can use that'll help you start “seeing” the fingerboard in a completely new way…
