The Yulia Argument:
Yes, I believe Yulia is (probably) the Uchigatana. However, it is NOT implicitly implied. There is no dialogue that states this, it is simply a good interpretation. However, the tracing of the Merchant's hand is not what would go over a sword, he is petting nothing, and From could have easily patched this.
