Let's Play King's Field -12- Getting the Moonlight Sword, and the showdown with Guyra!
Twelfth and final edition of Let's Play King's Field, as it's time to grab the Moonlight Sword, Seath's Armor set, and square off against Guyra! It's the FINAL EDITION of Let's Play King's Field!
DARK SOULS NOTE AND CORRELATION:
- Seath is indicated to be a White Dragon in the King's Field series. (Who we will later meet). Dark Souls Seath is also a white dragon.
- The Moonlight Sword, as you see in this Let's Play King's Field, looks exactly like The Moonlight Sword you retrieve by cutting off Seath's tail in Dark Souls.
- Clearly, between Seath and the Moonlight Sword, From Software is paying an homage to King's Field. (Beyond the character names/art, I believe that is where the correlations and homage end).
This is the first American King's Field game, and the second of the Japanese King's Field games. If you enjoy Demon's Souls or Dark Souls, it's fun to check this out and see the origins of where those games came from!
King's Field was released on Playstation in 1995. The American version of King's Field was released in 1996. King's Field is actual the second title in the series, with the first King's Field game being Japanese only.
On this Let's Play King's Field, I:
- Steal the Moonlight Sword without killing Guyra
- Play around with sword magics
- Grab the rest of Seath/Merlin's armor set
- Discover the use of the Lightning Helm and test it out!
- Check the final areas I missed.
- Prepare for Guyra...
- Square off against Guyra, and then square dance with him! The black dragon! GUYRA!
- Enjoy the ending cinematic
Let me know what you guys think, and I hope you've enjoy my Let's Play: King's Field!
