Finale (with lots of defeats). This was recorded right before Bayonetta 1&2 was released on the switch, so don't get too confused when that pops up in the video : P

Apologies for forgetting to upload this, but here it is. We get through a celebratory party (after getting a new power...after fighting a balloon), but it's all a hoax/illusion/it's not there. Basically...it turns into an ambush and I pay the price for it more than once.

Afterwards we make it out and EVENTUALLY reach the shop and a boss just to the left of that shop...or as I call eventually called it "the four legged jack-in-a-box".

We get ambushed again only to be saved by the whale with the huge grin that we healed about an hour earlier and eventually make it to the island where Zouna waits (or malix if you're in Europe).

A bit more fighting and exploring until we finally make it to the alleged disney princess itself.

After well over 10 minutes, we finally win and rescue some captives ontop of it.

Anyway, this game was pretty fun, bosses take an absurd amount of hits early on and I'm probably not the only one saying these too, but there are some helpful items I neglected to use for a bit.

Xiaomu does have that new art when you're switching between her and Valkyrie/Strider Hiryu's waifu, but there's no larger version of it anywhere. Valkyrie has it since it's part of her ending images, but not for xiaomu, which is a bit of a bummer since it is new art made in this game's art style. Hopefully some digging has it turn up in the near future.
