Welcome to Niche: Wizarding World!
This is the Spellbook Tribe and our story begins with a wizard and witch by the names of Telalorne and Nheriia, who were persecuted for their magical powers in a land far away. Realizing the dream they shared for a better future, the two fell in love and along with a few younger nichelings, decided to escape from the tyranny they were in. Across the plains they traveled and waters they swam until at last, the two were satisfied with where they found themselves. In the harsh wilds of the Savannah they established the Spellbook Tribe. Their dream is to create a wizarding world where nichelings can harness the magic of mutations and prosper as a society!
As the originators of this society, Telalorne and Nheriia have created a scroll stating the outlines for how their society will work! This is known as the Ancient Spellbook!
Here are the rules of the wizarding world!
1. Begin with five nichelings: a middle-aged male and female, a young adult, a teen and a child.
2. Firstly, we must establish the Wizarding Circle! To do this, roll a dice to see whether the Circle has a Grand Wizard or a Grand Witch. This will be our leader. Now we can begin using our magical abilities!
3. Nichelings can only breed once they've been touched by magic (ie. have their mutations set).
4. Mutations can be set in two ways: by becoming a wizard or witch, or by doing a favor for one (ie. licking wounds, taking off leeches).
5. Nichelings doing favors will receive one mutation per favor.
6. To become a wizard or witch, a nicheling must be Apprentice to a Master in the Wizarding Circle. Only teens can be taken as apprentices.
7. One apprentices age up to an adult, they graduate to the title of Wizard or Witch and use their magical powers to manifest their mutations.
8. Nichelings can only gain the title of Master once they are halfway through their lives. Unless they've been trained by the Grand Wizard or Witch themselves! In this case, they age up to the title of Master.
9. Successors are chosen by the leaders on the last day of their life from between the Circle Masters.
10. When a new master takes on leadership, roll to see whether they remain on the island or go to a new one!
